Sarah Barnes, Sports Editor
Sarah Barnes is a junior at Armuchee High School. This is her third year as a journalism student. As a sophomore, Barnes was the features editor. This year she is the sports editor for the Tribe Tribune. Barnes describes journalism as, "a class that helps you improve in your writing skills for your other classes."
Outside of school she plays softball for the high school. Barnes also plays travel ball for a team called Georgia Trouble. Her favorite memories are from her sophomore year when her team made school history by going to the elite eight. Barnes enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She said, "My family and I enjoy taking a trip to the lake for the weekend. My friends and I also like going to Broad street on the weekends to hang out." Barnes can't wait to see what her third year in journalism has in store for her.
