Journie Simpson, freshman, joined Armuchee High School as of this year. She joined the journalism staff as of this year also. Simpson is a new journalist. She joined journalism because it is a good opportunity to get to know many different people, and it is a chance to explore new things. She also wants to learn new things in journalism and learn to interact with others better. Simpsons’ favorite aspect about AHS as a whole is that the upperclassmen are so nice and respectful to underclassmen.
In her summertime, Simpson went to Virginia and Florida. She also spent the summer with her friend Mckenzie, and at band camp for the last two weeks of summer. Some of her hobbies are reading (sometimes), colorguard, and coloring. She has a favorite social media, and that is Snapchat because you can write on your pictures. Simpson’s favorite movie is "Finding Dory" because it is a funny and cute movie.
