On November 3rd, 2025, Armuchee High School’s (AHS) Class of 2026 elected Carter Kibble as AHS’s “Wittiest” senior boy. Carter is widely known across the school for his humorous and lighthearted attitude whether that be in the class or on the field. “He has a positive mindset and that keeps the team uplifted,” Emilio Hernandez, Carter’s teammate, said. When asked for his overall thoughts on the matter, Kibble said, “It means [a lot to me] that people have noticed how I act and have fun no matter the circumstances.” One of Carter’s biggest role models is Ryan Reynolds due to his similar, joyous attitude. Carter tries to use this attitude to make a positive impact on his peers. “Whenever times are hard I joke around to keep things brighter,” Kibble said.
At Armuchee, Carter is involved in football, soccer, and Key Club. Outside of Armuchee, Kibble also is the youth worship leader at West Rome Baptist Church. Two of Kibble’s favorite activities are playing the guitar and working on trucks. Kibble enjoys trucks so much, in fact, that when asked if he could choose any other superlative outside of the ones from AHS’s that he might want or that might best describe him, Kibble said he would have the “Tuffest Rig” superlative for his truck.
After graduation, Kibble plans to join the fire department where he will be able to apply his same upbeat and positive attitude to lift up the spirits of hundreds of people. “I want to be remembered as someone who always had a smile on their face and always had fun and made jokes even when times were hard,” Kibble said. Carter’s advice to his underclassmen was to never take things too seriously and to always have fun. As Carter moves onto a bright future, he leaves behind a legacy shaped by a cheerful and witty attitude.
