In late 2025, Armuchee High School’s (AHS) Class of 2026 elected Manrajpreet (who goes as Mannu) Singh as AHS’s “Most Involved” senior boy. Mannu is widely respected within the Armuchee community for his respectful and hardworking attitude. “I think Mannu is a really inspirational guy, because he’s just always willing to work. Um, I’ll talk to him sometimes, and he’s just, like, telling me all about the classes he’s taken for all he’s involved in, and just really inspiring his work ethic is, like, really, really good,” Emma Reed, a fellow superlative awardee and close friend of Singh. “It’s an honor to be nominated. I like how people chose me as someone who’s involved because it shows how I’m committed to activities outside of academics,” Singh said.
At Armuchee, Mannu holds multiple leadership positions; he is both the president of Key Club and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and he is also the co-founder of the math team. Mannu is also involved in math team, literary competition, National Honors Society (NHS), Spanish Honors Society, and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Mannu has also done cross country, track, and student leadership. While balancing his large quantity of involvement, Mannu’s friends claim that he never fails to lighten the mood. “I would describe him as not just a hard worker, but he’s also just a fun guy to be around. He’s a chill guy,” Reed said.
There are, however, other qualities outside of just his involvement that people admire about Mannu. “he’s just always willing to help,” Reed said. Krish Patel, another close senior friend of Mannu’s, said, “He never lets the thoughts of anyone else affect him. He remains true to himself at all times.” Mannu had particular advice for the freshmen and sophomores of Armuchee. “Start prepping for [the] SAT/ACT early,” Singh said. After walking the stage at graduation, Mannu will focus his efforts towards The Georgia Institute of Technology where he will double major in math and computer science and leave behind a legacy of community engagement.
