On November 3rd of this year, Sarah Beth Perry received the senior superlative for “Friendliest.” Sarah’s peers stated that their reasoning behind electing Sarah to represent the Class of 2026 in this manner was due to her joyful and positive attitude. Aubree Crider, senior, said, “My favorite quality of Sarah’s is that she’s one of the most, like, joyful and, like, giggly people I’ve ever met.” It is not only Aubree who feels this way, however. “Sarah always has a positive outlook on every situation,” Emma Peshel, senior, said. It is through Sarah’s uplifting spirit and positive outlook on life that her peers feel she is the best representation for what Armuchee’s friendly nature has to offer. ” Sarah has inspired me to see the positives in everything,” said Lacey Williams, senior.
At Armuchee, Sarah is involved in the National Honors Society (NHS), Key Club, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and Family Carrier and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Sarah is also involved in the more athletic side of the Armuchee community; Sarah is on the varsity soccer and volleyball team. Outside of Armuchee, Sarah works at Jonesy’s, a kid-friendly boutique store, and carries out an internship at the hospital. “I love the hospital and getting to talk to people, and communicating with patients is always super fun, and I learn a lot from that,” Perry said. When asked what she likes to do outside of school and her job, Sarah said, “I just like being around people and doing stuff in groups with friends.”
After high school, Sarah plans to acquire some sort of medical degree at a four year college. Sarah plans to use this degree to acquire a job as a Physician Assistant (PA) that specializes in genetic disorders in children. Sarah used her internship at the hospital to better prepare herself for the environment she will work in as a PA. Sarah hopes for everyone to remember her as a kind and outgoing individual that was able to brighten at least one person’s day.
