This school year, Luke Hagerich received the senior superlative for “Most Likely to Succeed.” Luke’s peers nominated him as the boy most expected to succeed greatly after high school in the entirety of Armuchee’s Class of 2026. Luke is revered by his classmates for his dedication to his academics and involvement in the community. Luke is also in the running to become Armuchee’s valedictorian for the Class of 2026. When asked to describe his feelings on the matter, Luke said, “I’m honored that people think about that; think about me.” Luke wished to express his gratitude to the class of 2026. “thank you all for nominating me,” Luke said. Tori Vitello, a close friend of Luke’s and the winner of the “Most Athletic” superlative, said, “He’s very goal oriented and knows, like, what’s gonna help him achieve his goals for the future.”
At Armuchee, Luke is involved in the National Honors Society (NHS), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), student leadership, Key Club, and superintendent advisory council. However, Luke is not only a member in most of these activities; He is the president of NHS, an FCA Huddle leader, and the senior class’s president in student leadership. Over the years, Luke has also been involved in Academic Decathlon and FBLA. Luke also works at Winshape camp over the summer. When asked about the motivation behind his success-driven mindset, Luke said, “I want to be the best I can, the best version of myself.”
After Graduation, Luke plans to go to college where he will major in finance and mathematics. He plans to use this degree to acquire a job in Venture capital or possibly investment banking first. Luke wants to be remembered as someone extremely committed to his school and community. Many of Luke’s peers view him as an inspiration to work harder, citing that without Luke, they would not be as motivated to try in their academics. “I feel like he raises the academic competition and… he’s very focused, and he inspires me to actually be in my studies,” Vitello said.” Vitello said. When asked what Luke felt was most important for his underclassmen to remember, he said, “Dream big and implement systems that will get you there.” It is through his commitment to Armuchee that Luke says he has learned to be successful. It is through this success-driven mindset, Luke’s peers claim, that they hold him to such high regard and view him as Armuchee Class of 2026’s “Most Likely to Succeed.”
