This school year, Grace Fellows received the senior superlative for “Most Respected” of the Class of 2026. Many of Grace’s peers consider her to be a well-rounded and good-natured individual. Josie Harris, junior, said, “Any time that I have a question or something that I’m struggling with, I know that I can go to Grace because she has so much wisdom on the subject; she’s always very honest with me.” It is not just Grace’s reliability, however, that makes so many of her classmates respect her. Mannu Singh, another winner of the senior superlatives, said, “My favorite quality of Grace’s character is that she’s hilarious. Any time that we have a conversation, she always comes up with the funniest jokes that make everyone laugh.” Grace’s peers claim that it is this combination of reliability and humor that so many people love when it comes to her character.
Grace is involved in track, cross country, National Honors Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Grace usually participates in the 4×400 meter relay, the 4×800 meter relay, 300 hurdles, and long jump for track. Outside of Armuchee, Grace interns at the Animal Medical Center of Rome. However, it is not only through labor that Grace finds her passion. “She’s an incredible baker,” Harris said. When asked what she loved most about Armuchee, Grace said that it was simply “the people.” Grace’s biggest role models in her life are Coach Hagerich, Coach Arp, and Jesus. Grace said that she was proud to have such good coaches and mentors to guide her throughout her athletics.
After Graduation, Grace plans to attend college and take a preparatory track in pre-veterinary which she will then use to enter the veterinarian field. Many of both students and athletes will miss Grace and the inspiration she brings with her. Krish Patel, senior, said, “Grace showed me how to be cheerful and careless at times in order to embrace and enjoy the moment.” Ellery McClain, junior, shared a similar consensus. “Grace has taught me how to have fun and laugh even in hard situations,” McClain said. Mannu Singh was incredibly passionate when discussing Grace’s positive impact on his life. “Grace has helped me learn that not everything has to be serious, but it’s okay to have fun and cherish memories and not just focus on schoolwork,” Singh said. When asked how she wished to be remembered, Grace said, “I want them to remember me as a friend.” It is through Grace’s wisdom, humor, and reliability that many consider her the most respected girl in Armuchee’s Class of 2026.
