  • Senior, Mary Kate Wheeler is going to Georgia Highlands for 2 years then she will transfer to a new college. She chose to do this because it will help strengthen her core classes and will be a cheaper option. Wheeler said, “I look forward to making new friends, finding new hobbies, and being able to do what I want.” Wheeler is involved with FBLA, FCA, SADD Club, yearbook, and she also plays sports.

  • Luke Smith, senior at AHS, is going to Georgia Highlands College. Luke Smith chose this college because it was the best price for him. At AHS he is involved with FCA and FBLA. Smith said, “I’m looking forward to being independent after high school.”

  • Zac Goodwin is going to Jacksonville State University. Zac chose JSU because it reminds him of Armuchee and it is also one of the best business schools. Goodwin said, “I’m ready to go to college to have fun and be independent.”

  • Bryson Smith, senior at AHS, is going to Berry College after she graduates. Her Father works there and her Brother attends the school. Bryson is involved with volleyball, yearbook, key club, and SADD at Armuchee. Smith said, “I’m looking forward to the freedom and going on your own when I get to college.”
