Most Likely to Succeed

Randon Carter and Kayla Hutcherson received the senior superlative for Most Likely to Succeed.

The senior class chose Randon Carter and Kayla Hutcherson as the two people most likely to succeed. After high school, Carter plans on going to college to further his education. Hutcherson plans on majoring in music education and eventually become a college professor of music.

Carter was honored to receive this title because he is proud his classmates view him as successful. Receiving this award meant he puts in the work to succeed in the real world to Carter. Carter’s favorite memories have been made while at practices because he is with his friends and strengthening their bonds. Carter is most looking forward to, “Finally getting done and moving on,” during his senior year. While at AHS Carter has learned how to put in hard work and stay dedicated which will help him succeed in anything he puts his mind to. Carter feels he deserves this award, “I put in a necessary amount of work. Hard work pays off.”

Hutcherson was excited to receive this title and honored to know that her classmates believe in her. Her mother also received this superlative while in high school, she is proud to be following in her footsteps. She said, “People have always called me an overachiever because if I want something, I will try my hardest to get it. I chase my dreams with every ounce of effort that I possess.” While at AHS Hutcherson has been in various leadership positions, “I have learned the value of being a servant leader. True leaders seek to serve those they are leading. This value will help me in the future to remain kind, caring, and humble no matter what is thrown my way.” Hutcherson hopes her senior year is her most successful year yet, as a drum major, clarinet player, and runner. Hutcherson’s favorite memories while at AHS have been made on the field while performing halftime shows and at band competitions. Her favorite accomplishment is going to All-State band for three years and playing the clarinet while there.

Hutcherson said if she could choose one teacher to give Most Likely to Succeed to she would choose to give it to Mrs. Magnicheri, “She is a genius and she throws ninja stars.” Carter said, “Tribe and True means that we are one big family, in the end we will stick together no matter what.” Hutcherson said, “Tribe and True means no matter where we end up in life, we will always be part of this tribe.”
