Tyashia Farmer is a freshman staff writer for the Tribe Tribune. Though it was not her choice to join, she ended up enjoying the class more than she thought she would. In her words, “I thought it would be more of typing on computers than interviewing people.” Tyashia has never written for a newspaper before, but she is very excited to start getting experience.

In her spare time, Farmer plays Volleyball for the Rec. Center as an opposite hitter. At Armuchee High School, one of her favorite subjects is science because of the experiments they perform.
