This year’s student elected for the 8th grade superlative “Most Athletic” was Ryker Sarratt. For AMS Ryker is involved in basketball, track, and cross country. Ryker beleives he was voted for this superlative due to his heavy involvement in extracurricular activities. He said, “I am very athletic and am involved in multiple different sports, I think that’s why I was voted for this superlative”. After graduation, Ryker wants to go to college and earn a business degree. While he is earning his degree, Ryker would like to play basketball for whatever college he decides to attend, continuing his legacy as an athletic individual.
Ryker beleives that his superlative perfectly embodies his personality better than any other could. He said, “I don’t think there is another superlative that better fits me, this one represents my personality very well”. However, Ryker exaplined that there are other students in his grade that very well deserve the “Most Athletic” title also. He said, “I thought Gio McFadden or Ethan Hight would get it. They are both very athletic students and would also have been a perfect fit.” Winning this title not only shows his dedication, but also his passion, and determination to athletics and sports. Ryker has experienced a confidence boost now knowing his classmates find him the “Most Athletic”. He said, “Winning this award meant a lot to me because it shows me that my classmates actually find me very athletic and my hard work in my extracurriculars has been noticed.” Being awarded the title of “Most Athletic” recognizes Ryker’s past achievements as well as his current, and his incredible involvement in extracurricular activities, inspiring us all to have his participation and commitment.
