This year Conner Owens an 8th grader at Armuchee High School was selected as the most likely to cheer you up superlative. Conner Owens said, “I did not expect to get chosen but I am glad I did.” There are many people who could have gotten chosen for this superlative but Conner was the lucky one. He said, “If anyone else got chosen for this specific superlative I think it would have been Chase Kennedy, he’s a nice guy and I feel like we have the same personality.” Conner Owens is honored that he got chosen for this superlative and thinks that it fits his personality very well. Conner said, “I think the reason I got chosen is because I try to be nice to people, and I like to make people laugh.” Conner Owens chooses to embody his superlative by making others smile and helping to cheer people up who might need a little laugh.
There are many superlatives that could’ve been given. Conner Owens said, “I would not change mine if I could; if I did I would change it to most likely to make people laugh, because that’s what I enjoy most.” Conner Owens isn’t quite sure what his plans are for the future, but he does know that he plans to keep making people happy and cheering them up and he hopes that sticks with him throughout the rest of his life. Being kind isn’t always something that comes easy, Conner said, “Being kind all the time is hard but making people laugh when they might be upset is worth it.” Getting chosen for a superlative is a big deal, but it also is very exciting, Conner said, “By getting chosen I would definitely say that it boosted my confidence. I now know that it does make an impact and people do recognize when you are kind.” Conner wants everyone to be happy and cheerful, and to make others laugh. Conner is already making impacts on others in just the 8th grade, and he hopes to continue to make people more cheerful for as long as possible.
