Sadie Cooper was recently selected for the eighth grade class of 2029 “Most Likely to Cheer You Up” superlative. Sadie was very surprised she had won the superlative. She wasn’t expecting to hear her name called, so you can imagine the excitement she felt upon hearing she had won. She said, “I was shocked, I didn’t think I would be voted for any of them.” Even if she didn’t expect to be voted, she was definitely excited that she was. She said, “I think I got voted for this superlative because I always try to encourage people and put them in a good mood.” Sadie sees this superlative to accurately represent her and that no other one could be a better fit. She said, “I don’t think any of the other superlatives fit me as well as this one, it’s very true to who I am I think.” Sadie’s friends also believe that she got the best superlative for her. Kenley Goetz, seventh grader, said, “I think this superlative suits her because she is always so nice and encouraging.”
Sadie has been involved in various activities during her time in middle school including the quiz bowl team and competition cheer. Her teammates have described her as having an optimistic attitude and never doubting their abilities, no matter what happens or the outcome of a competition. After she graduates highschool, Sadie wants to go to the University of Georgia, and be in the medical field. Winning a superlative is an exciting achievement for anyone, and it only makes it better when you can say the superlative fits you perfectly, just like Sadie’s.
