This year’s most talented senior superlative for boys went to student Parker Campbell. When Campbell was asked why he thought he was voted for this superlative, his answer had to do with his devotion to school and all the activities he is involved with. Campbell said, “I think I was voted for this superlative because I am involved in a variety of activities at school, and my peers respect my devotion to my extracurriculars.” Parker also believes that this is the best suiting superlative for himself. He said, “I think a major part of my self identity is believing that I can always be better at any given task. I truly try to strive to be well practiced and have exceptional performance at the things that I do.” Overall, Campbell is very committed to the tasks that he is assigned, as well as extracurricular activities, which contributes to why he believes he was voted for “Most Talented”.
One of Parker’s extracuriculars is being a member of our marching band. Campbell is the center snare for the Armuchee marching band as well as the civic engagement program for AHS. Outside of school, he stays involved with his local church with photography and playing music for services. Campbell said, “I think I generally enjoy doing my best at new things to help others.” Campbell stays motivated to do his best through helping his community and those around him. Tyler Buckenham, senior, who voted for Parker Campbell, said, “Parker’s really a jack of all trades, I can’t really think of anything that he’s not good at. His involvement both in and out of school is really impressive once you’ve known him for a while.”
Buckenham is not the only student who shares this opinion about Campbell, a fellow senior student, Alex Beavers said almost the same thing. He said, “I would say that he falls into the category of a jack of all trades, he tries his hardest to excel in everything he does whether it be performing in band or his practice of whitewater paddling. Beyond that he has just a large array of interests I know of which he pursues each of with determination.” Campbell seems to show skill in several different areas, with his determination peaking in his workings.
Parker Campbell was voted most talented by the Class of 2025 for showing skills and ability in multiple different subjects. Both students Alex Beavers and Tyler Buckenham referred to him as “the jack of all trades” on two separate accounts. Senior student Elan McClain also said, “He’s really good at the band, hunting, and anything academic.” Campbell was also recently accepted into the University of Georgia under Engineering/Pre-law. It is needless to say that Parker Campbell is a skilled person with many abilities, and shows much devotion and effort into his works. The Class of 2025 voted him for the most talented award, knowing that no other classmate deserves it more.
