The 2024 senior superlatives for Armuchee High School is a class tradition, and this year, senior Tessa Swanson was voted for one of the many honoring superlatives that Armuchee has to win. Tessa is a creative student who has many achievements from her art projects, and was ecstatic about her winning the “Most Talented” superlative out of all of her peers. But what makes her the perfect candidate for this superlative? She said, “I have the pure need to create and express myself, and my class saw that.” Even though she won, she didn’t expect to win such a superlative. Tessa said, “Honestly I was not expecting it, but I hoped that my class would make good judgment.” She was very excited about her honoring achievement, and she said,“I couldn’t have been more happy. It felt like Christmas Morning.”
Tessa has many achievements for her amazing artworks. She says, “I’ve won “Best In Show”, and First and Second Place at Coosa Valley Fair and Fine Arts Night.” She is a very ambitious person, and she has many plans for the future of her art and what it means to her. Tessa works very hard for her art to be of the best quality and give it the full potential to be what she envisions. She said, “I strive really hard for perfection in my work and other people’s perspective in my art.” Tessa is very creative and knows she could make something of her potential; in fact, if she could create her own superlative for herself she would describe herself as “Most Ambitious”. Tessa plans on creating her own path for her art and harnessing her creative talents in the future as well.
After High School, Tessa plans to go to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and study Art History. She said, “I think there is so much meaning in old art, and it has so much depth.” She wants to grow her knowledge in others’ work, and in the meaning and reason they simply produced their work, while creating and bringing to life her work as well. She then set goals to achieve after graduating; she said,“I wanna get my fine arts seal, the fine arts chord, get into SCAD, and produce more of my art” As you can see, Tessa is a very driven person and strives to have put her skills to her future career making her a the best fit to be the class of 2025 senior, “Most Talented”.
