Julian Alvarez received the Most Involved Senior Superlative, voted by the class of 2025. Julian believes he was voted for this superlative because he participates in many clubs, sports, and other extracurricular activities in and outside of school. Julian said, “I think my superlative is deserving along with the other recipients of the other superlatives.”
One major involvement for Julian is that he has been president of the class of 2025 for all 4 years of high school. He is also a member of the clubs: FBLA and NHS. Over his years at Armuchee High School, he has participated in the following sports: Cross country, Soccer, Football, and Track. Julian puts in hard work and effort and has received many awards for his athletic abilities. Julian said, “ I have been a 2-time state champion for cross country, Region winner for soccer, and some medals for Track.”
Julian was also crowned Homecoming King in the 2024-2025 school year. He was voted by many students for his acts of kindness and his attributions to the school. Christian Armstrong, a freshman, said, “I had a concussion in 8th grade, and I was walking outside on the trail and someone sent Julian out there to check on me. I had a semi-engaging conversation with Julian and found out he was a pretty cool guy, so I voted him Homecoming King.”
In the 2024 Football season, Julian joined to be the kicker for the Armuchee Football team. He was inspired by Grayson Perry, a graduate of Armuchee High School. Grayson taught Julian how to get a good read on the ball and how to kick. Even though it was his first and last year on the team, Julian was a very successful kicker for our team. Julian said, “I kicked a 43-yard field goal in practice my first year and was very proud of myself.” While managing school, sports, and clubs, Julian has a part-time job and has helped volunteer at Winshape camps for the past 5-6 years, and has been a Church group leader for Pleasant Valley North for 2 years.
Julian Alvarez has made a lasting impact on the people involved in the many sports and clubs he is in. Abbie Carson, a senior and a member of Pleasant Valley North said, “Julian is very faithful, and encourages others to come back to church.” Julian is deserving of the 2025 Senior Class Superlative, Most Involved. Julian said, “I am very grateful that the class of 2025 has looked at me as someone who is involved in many activities with our school.”
