On September 3rd of 2024 the Class of 2026 voted for their class representatives. At Armuchee High School the Junior class President is Luke Hagerich, Vice President is Tori Vitello, Media Chair is Bella Duck, and Representatives consist of Mannu Singh, Krish Patel, Sebastian Castro and James Bradshaw. All of these positions combined create a strong, powerful Tribe. This year we had Homecoming spirit week and these four positions had a say in what the themes were. Our Junior class selected Minion day because they thought it was a very simple, funny and easy outfit to create. They also took in peoples’ considerations from their class.
When appointed to class president, Luke Hagerich said that he would love to have a say in what goes on in the school to make it a better place and be a great role model to those around him. He said, “I want to be a good example to my peers and have a voice in the school.” He would love to have a say in what goes on in the school to make it a better place and be a great role model to those around him. Luke is a cross country and track runner, he puts in hard work to both sports and genuinely loves them, something he believes should be applied in school as well. Tori Vitello said as Vice President she wants to add to the legacy of Armuchee High School. She said, “I’m happy to represent the class of 2026 and continue to add greatness to the Armuchee Tribe.” Tori plays basketball, soccer and softball, which the softball team has made it to state this year they placed twenty-fourth in the state, and last year the soccer team won region against Darlington with her help.
As they were chosen for their leadership positions, they all knew they would have different styles of leadership. Media Chair Bella Duck doesn’t want to do everything on her own, but takes others’ opinions into consideration. One Representative, James Bradshaw, said, “My way of leadership is to help from behind, I love to help behind the scenes. That contributes a lot to things people don’t know about. For example is when we all went to the Food Pantry and bagged food for the people with less chances of eating food.”
When they join together as a team, they all want to support each other. President Luke Hagerich said he would like to keep everyone accountable in an encouraging way, such as giving them feedback in the nicest way possible. As others were asked this, they said they would love to encourage and be helpful to each other and work it out as a team and not take charge as one individual.
This year’s Class Officers have each other’s back, and work so well together. Students voted for these specific students because they knew they would be in good hands. Sarah Beth Perry, a student at Armuchee High School, stated how much she loves the Class officers this year. She said, “I love the ability they have to communicate so well with each other, and they all have great leadership skills.” This means they are very well representatives of the class of 2026, and hope to succeed as a team.
