Best Dressed

This year’s best dressed senior superlative for boys went to Patrick Dupree. Dupree would describe his style as fresh and loud. He shops at Belks for his clothing. If he could give best dressed to a celebrity he would choose Ryan Reynolds. Dupree said, “My style just comes naturally to me.” He thinks he was chosen because he always comes in with the best outfits. He said, “If I didn’t get best dressed I would’ve probably got most friendly.” Dupree plans to attend Berry College and take pre-law because he wants to become a lawyer. In his 4 years at AHS, he has learned how to treat people better and has developed a strong work ethic. He said, “These values will carry over into college and later in life.” One of Patrick’s favorite memories from AHS was when he, Alex, Blake, Hunter, and Tristan would try to get into a group together.” Tribe and True to Dupree means becoming a family by protecting and loving each other.

This year’s best dressed senior superlative for girls went to Sierra Downs. Downs said she would describe her style as laid back and casual. She shops for her clothes at Glitzy Chiks, Old Navy, and Trendy You. When asked if she strives to be best dressed she said, “No, not at all.” She thinks the seniors chose her because she wears anything other than leggings or a big shirt. “I look decent.” Downs said. If she could give best dressed to a celebrity she would give it to Blake Lively. “If I wouldn’t have gotten best dressed, I probably would get most cutest” she said. After high school, she plans on going to school for cosmetology. AHS has taught her to keep pushing and do her best. Her favorite memory from AHS was Field Day 2017. Tribe and True to her means, “All together we are a tribe and if we stay true to one another and never back down, we will continue to grow as a tribe. She wants to leave a mark as a senior class and set an example for the upcoming classes.
