Junior, Isaac Agan celebrates earning his Eagle Scout rank at this year’s Eagle Ceremony. Eagle Scout is the highest achievement attainable in the Boy Scouts of America program. Agan said, “The Eagle Ceremony was a truly surreal night for me. I got to become an Eagle Scout with my 4 closest friends who have been with me since the beginning.  It was something I have worked towards for over a decade. I have camped countless nights, hiked over 200 miles and worked more than 80 volunteers hours.” Part of what made the night so special was some of Isaac’s family members and mentors who were in attendance to join in celebrating his achievement. He said, “At the end I gave out three mentor pins. The first one I gave to my mentor for my Eagle Project for constantly giving me advice on skills. The second, I gave to my Scoutmaster who traveled to Philmont with me. The last one meant the most to me, I gave it to my grandfather who got me started on this journey and took me to Scouts every Tuesday for years. He is truly my best friend and role model.” As a school and community, we would like to congratulate Isaac on earning such a big accomplishment.
