The bench for the class of 2019 is all about kindness and inclusivity. The bench features the fingerprints of multiple people in an array of colors. The students responsible for the design, Anna Fitzpatrick, Brooke Dellis, Eli Brock, and Mary Kate Wheeler, wanted to know what made the senior class the senior class, and the answer they found, after questioning their teachers and other members of the staff, was the fact that the senior class was kind and inclusive, “We wanted to encapsulate our senior class and all of our different personalities. So when we asked outside people like Mr. Rhodarmer and our teachers, they said we were a very inclusive senior class, and so we wanted to say that we’re kind.” Said Fitzpatrick.
