Most Athletic

This year Armuchee High School seniors selected Bridgette Jones and Chaney Holder as the Most Athletic. Both seniors play multiple sports. Bridgette plays volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Chaney participates in basketball, cross country, and track.

Tribe and True is a saying that was brought to the school by principal, John Rhodarmer, and the students very much enjoy it. To Bridgette, Tribe and True means “ No matter what situation you’re in, always give 110% to AHS.”  She had no idea she was going to win Most Athletic, because she thought there were plenty more people who are better at sports than she is. Chaney said “During my years at Armuchee I have learned to have a great work ethic and how to work well with others.” Both seniors said they strive to be most athletic because they want to be the best athlete they can for their teams and this tribe. Chaney said in order to prepare for an event he drinks lots of water, runs to stay in shape, and focuses on his physical health; all which are very important when you run cross country and track.

After high school, Bridgette wants to attend a four year university and become a physician assistant. During college she has decided to take time off sports and focus on her career goal instead.
