Armuchee Tops AP Scholars List

The College Board released the AP School Scholar Roster and it included 54 Floyd County Schools students, 23 of which were Armuchee students, earning AP Scholar Awards. The teens were recognized for their exceptional achievement on AP Exams for 2018. Students can earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP exams. Only 22 percent of the 2.2 million students worldwide who took AP Exams performed at a level high enough to earn an AP Scholar Board. AHS had an average score of 3.29, the highest of the four Floyd County Schools.
- Students that qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams:
